One killed, two hurt in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— An 18-year-old boy died while two others were injured in a road accident Sunday evening at the National Road in Barangay Vizcaya, Pres. Roxas, Capiz.

Police identified the fatality as Joseph Dela Cruz of Barangay Sangkal, Pres. Roxas town who died in a hospital.

Investigation by the Pres. Roxas Municipal Police Station indicated that Dela Cruz was riding a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old boy when he accidentally crashed into another motorcycle driven by Michael Angel Soldevilla, 22, of Barangay Lantangan, Pontevedra.

The two motorcycles were on their way to Pontevedra town when Dela Cruz made a sudden U-turn which led to the mishap.
