BACOLOD City Chief. Supt. John Bulalacao, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 director confirmed on Jan 2, 2019 that Negros Occidental police provincial director, Senior Supt. Rodolfo Castil, will be relieved of his post effective Jan 7.
Bulalacao said Castil will switch posts with Senior Superintendent Romeo Baleros, the incumbent regional intelligence chief.
Bulalacao said the turnover rites between Castil and Baleros will be on Jan 7.
There will be no elaborate turn over. It will only be relieve in place and a simple picture taking, he added.
Bulalacao further said “Busy ka0si lahat and we don’t have the luxury of time anymore. Campaign period starts on Jan 13.”
He said Castil’s relief is a promotion for the police officer.
Castil assumed as Negros Occidental police provincial director in August 2017. He served as Negros Occidental provincial director for one year and 4 months.
