The Toronto Raptors just handed the Milwaukee Bucks a harsh reality check after snapping their three-game winning streak, 122-94, in the ongoing NBA regular season on Feb. 23, 2026.
Fresh off a gritty escape against the Chicago Bulls, the Raptors tied some loose ends, especially on their pick-and-roll defensive coverage, to dominate Milwaukee on the road at the Fiserv Forum.
Toronto trailed early in the opening quarter after Milwaukee’s spitfire guard Ryan Rollins waxed hot from downtown, torching them in the first six minutes of action to help the Bucks establish a narrow five-point cushion heading into the next frame.
However, the Raptors’ interior defense finally clicked in the nick of time as they limited Milwaukee’s paint touches and pick-and-roll plays to just four conversions during the whole 12-minute quarter.
Milwaukee tried to devise a strategy by putting center Myles Turner at the top of the key, hoping for some pin-down action to free up the elbows, but the pesky Toronto defense swarmed them every time they threw the high-low action to the stretch big man.
As a result of Toronto’s efficient two-way outing, they outscored the Bucks in the second quarter, 38-24, and picked up where they left off after pulling away in the third period with a 19-point lead.
Brandon Ingram showcased a mid-range masterclass midway through the third, burying four consecutive perimeter jumpers that answered every Milwaukee bucket, while Immanuel Quickley dropped the early hammer with a personal scoring avalanche that put Toronto in a commanding position at the start of the fourth.
Unfortunately, Milwaukee slowed down when they needed to make a come-from-behind attempt in the fourth, scoring their lowest offensive quarter of the game with only 21 points.
Ingram, Quickley and Sandro Mamukelashvili then put on the finishing touches for the Raptors as the trio spearheaded an 11-0 run before exiting the game inside the remaining five minutes.
Quickley led the Toronto assault with a game-high 32-point production, built on an insane 11-of-19 shooting from the field, including five 3-pointers.
The daredevil guard was also an assist away from tallying a rare double-double as he also stuffed the stat sheet with nine dimes, three rebounds and a steal.
Meanwhile, Ingram capped off the huge win with 22 markers, six assists, two boards and two blocks, while Mamukelashvili added 15 points derived from three 3-pointers.
The Raptors will aim to sustain their momentum on Feb. 25, 2026, against the Western Conference powerhouse Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Bucks look to rebound on the same date against the Miami Heat.
