ILOILO UNITED Royals will look to bounce back after a heartbreaking defeat to the Quezon City Capitals in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League-Lakan Cup as they face the Nueva Ecija Miguard today, July 10, 2019 at the Navotas Sports Complex.
Despite the defeat, Iloilo got their hopes high as they almost completed a comeback, cutting Quezon’s 17 point lead to four.
Nueva Ecija is also hungry for a win after dropping three consecutive games in four outings.
As rookies in the league, both teams started their MPBL campaign with victories in their opening matches.
Iloilo will be led by gunner Richard Escoto, former PBA player Samboy De Leon, and Ilonggo point guard Aaron Jeruta.
Nueva Ecija will be bannered by former PBA champion Jerwin Gaco, UAAP stalwart JR Cawaling, and scorer Marlon Monte.
