Megaworld’s Italian-inspired condo in Iloilo Business Park named best in Visayas

Firenze, property giant Megaworld’s Italian-themed 22-story residential condo development in Iloilo Business Park, bested condominium developments in the Visayas after winning the “Best Condo Development in Visayas” award at the 12^th Philippines Property Awards by leading regional property listing portal and publication PropertyGuru.

The prestigious award was one of 35 recognitions that Megaworld brought home during the event, where the company emerged as the most awarded real estate developer, including the Best Developer for Visayas award. Megaworld also brought home two inaugural ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) awards for Sustainable Design and Energy Efficiency, and swept all operational portfolio categories for its hotel, office, and retail segments.

“Firenze is Megaworld’s latest standout project that is inspired by the City of Florence in Italy. The city is famous for its beautiful gardens and Renaissance art and architecture, and these are some of the things that make us so excited to bring to Iloilo Business Park given that there remains a strong demand for this kind of thematic residential concept. Another Megaworld residential condo, the Parisian-themed 10-story Saint Honore, also received a Highly Commended citation at the “Best Condo Interior Design” category.

Prior to Firenze,  Megaworld has already launched six residential developments inside Iloilo Business Park, namely One Madison (three towers), Lafayette Parksquare, The Palladium, Saint Honore, Saint Dominique, The Pinnacle.

Aside from these, Iloilo Business Park is also home to 11 office buildings offering around 182,000 square meters of leasable office spaces, in which three are still under construction. The township also has two existing first-class business hotels: the 149-room Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, and the 326-room Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo. A third hotel, Belmont Hotel Iloilo, will open very soon and will feature 405 rooms.

Iloilo Business Park was hailed as Best Township development in Asia at the 2018 Asia Property Awards, the only Visayas township to make it in the prestigious regional awards.
