The MDM College Senior High School demolished Vito National High School in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Sagay leg finals, 137-70.
From start to finish, the powerhouse team in yellow and green played a consistent high-octane type of basketball as they pushed the pace that caused problems for VNHS.
The hot and torching offense of the MDM troopers created a large cushion in the first quarter where MDM led, 31-16.
Things got rough for VNHS after the second quarter as John Paul Amante, John Sembrano, and Willie Fred Galo went on a scoring spree that ballooned the lead.
The MDM trio scored 23, 22, and 20, respectively and bullied the VNHS defense every time they went to the hole for an easy deuce.
The overwhelming performance by MDM made it hard for VNHS to mount a comeback as the losing team only scored 10 in the final frame compared to MDM’s 32-points in the fourth quarter.
