BACOLOD City – Police are still probing the death of a 23-year-old man who was shot by unidentified persons in Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental last Friday.
Based on the investigation, the victim, whose name was withheld, was at a store when two persons approached him and shot him several times with an unknown firearm.
The suspects fled while the victim was declared dead in a hospital.
Police recovered from the scene five fired cartridge cases of .45 caliber ammunition. They have yet to determine the motive of the incident.
