ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police will file illegal gun possession charges against a man who was caught in an entrapment operation Thursday morning at Barangay Dinginan here.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunition Law) will be filed today, Feb. 14, 2022, against Ryan Reyes of Barangay Banica.
Reyes was caught in an entrapment operation conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Capiz.
Seized from Reyes was a homemade 12-gauge shot gun with two live ammunitions and the P3,500 marked.
The suspect denied the accusation claiming he was merely framed.
He is presently detained at CIDG-Capiz field office.
