ROXAS CITY, Capiz— The top one most wanted person in Mambusao, Capiz was arrested for a statutory rape charge on Saturday at Barangay Angas, Batan, Aklan.
Police from Batan and Mambusao collared Orly (real name withheld to protect the victim’s identity) of Mambusao.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 21 Judge Rommel Leonor of Mambusao, Capiz with no bail recommended.
According to Police Major Edwin Luces, Mambusao police chief, Orly had been hiding for more than seven years after he was charged for allegedly molesting his daughter while she was only 5 years old.
The suspect is presently detained at Mambusao police station.
