WBO International featherweight champion Mark Magsayo will look to continue his undefeated streak against Thai legend Panya Uthok this coming August 31, 2019.
Magsayo, rolling in with a 19 match winning streak with 14 knockouts, will face a veteran Uthok, who has 53 wins, 6 defeats, and an impressive 35 knockouts under his belt.
Despite having almost a two-year rest from the ring, the Pride of Tagbilaran City, Bohol is never fazed.
“I fought last April. After that, I think I only rested for two weeks before I continuously trained again. That’s why I don’t feel I lost my confidence in training and my perseverance is still there.”Magsayo stated.
Magsayo’s showdown with Uthok is for the WBC Asia featherweight and IBF Pan-Pacific featherweight title.
The event will be handled by Vladimir Boxing Promotions.
