Doubters and rumors were easily shot down after the Magnolia Hotshots franchise inked a three-year deal with veteran guard Mark Barroca.
Also marking his 10th year with the historic franchise, Barroca was fresh off his signing of a three-year deal and will still be the main man in their famous full-court pressure defense.
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa Magnolia management sa tiwala nila sa akin, specifically kay Boss RSA (Ramon S. Ang), Boss Alfrancis (Chua), and (Magnolia Board) Governor Rene Pardo sa 10 years na pag serbisyo ko sa team,” said Barroca.
Barroca is already a six-time champion with the franchise and was also a part of the grand-slam roster headed by James Yap, Marc Pingris, and PJ Simon.
With the new deal he is in, the 34-year-old guard is looking forward to greater things together with superstar Paul Lee.
“Masaya ako na naka-sign ako ulit. Kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon na binigyan niya pa ako ng another contract,” Barroca added.
Barroca is also excited to guide the young guns and get them ready for the next season with the likes of Chris Banchero and Jio Jalalon.
