MAASIN, Iloilo — The Municipality of Maasin has taken a major step toward modern governance with the adoption of The Prominent, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software developed by WARP Technologies.
Integrating ERP technology across the LGU’s departments and key functions digitalizes its entire operations systems. As the units of the LGU get interconnected, processes will be automated, redundant tasks will be eliminated, and communication between departments will be greatly improved.
This initiative was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed between the local government and WARP Technologies and Innovations, marking Maasin’s commitment to streamlining public services and enhancing efficiency through digital innovation.
Maasin Mayor Francis “Ansing” Amboy and WARP Technologies Chief Technology Officer Kevin Ryan Atutubo led the signing ceremony held in Maasin, Iloilo, on Monday, October 27, 2025.
“The Prominent is designed to empower local governments like Maasin. We are delighted to join Maasin’s transformation to become one of the first true SMART LGUs in the Philippines,” said Kevin Ryan Atutubo during the event.
Maasin’s partnership with WARP marks a significant step forward in its modernization efforts, paving the way for more efficient, transparent, and accessible local government services.
WARP Technologies and Innovations is a pioneering software firm composed of Ilonggo engineers, developers, and quality assurance professionals working to advance the region’s tech ecosystem.
