Not again, Floyd.
Another day, another exposé.
In a YouTube video uploaded by the Iced Coffee Hour Podcast on March 2, 2026, American social media influencer Logan Paul revealed that boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. still owes him USD 1.5M from their exhibition bout in 2021.
Paul and Mayweather headlined the “Bragging Rights” boxing exhibition match on June 6, 2021, held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Although the fight wasn’t scored due to exhibition rules, Mayweather clearly stamped a masterclass on Paul, out-landing him from start to finish, 43-28.
Five years after the crossover exhibition, Paul broke his silence when he claimed that the undefeated pro boxer was yet to give him a portion of the bout’s sales.
Paul explained that Mayweather pre-sold the event’s name and rights to a company in Dubai or the Middle East for USD 10M in cash.
According to their contract, Paul was supposed to receive 15% of the presale sales, amounting to USD 1.5M, which he never received.
“He still owes me a million and a half,” Paul said during the podcast.
“He presold the fight using my likeness to some company, I think Dubai or the Middle East, for USD 10M cash. That company is actually suing him.”
Paul added that he was no longer expecting Mayweather to pay him his tab, as the boxing icon is currently facing a series of legal troubles involving unpaid jewelry and luxury rent.
The American influencer then assumed that Mayweather’s only reason why he had to come out of retirement and face Manny Pacquiao again was to replenish his bank account.
Aside from Pacquiao, Mayweather has already lined up two exhibition bouts in 2026, against Mike Tyson and Mike Zambidis.
The Tyson fight will be held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, while Zambidis will be squaring off against Mayweather in Athens, Greece.
“He smoked me. He has a bunch of legal trouble at the moment. I don’t think I’m ever getting the money,” Paul added.
