The Limitless Appmasters showed that they are still the best team in the league after prevailing over the tough TNT Tropang Giga, 22-19, during the grand finals of the 2022 PBA 3×3 Leg 5.
Jorey Napoles once again came to the rescue for Limitless after sinking back-to-back two-point long-distance shots that erased the TNT lead in the last three minutes of the ball game.
Down 16-18, Limitless went to their main gunner which also went hot in the most perfect time of the fiery grand finals clash.
Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser then delivered the finishing blow after burying the two-point shot from the corner that gave them another win against the Tropang Giga in the grand finals stage.
During the December 2021 PBA 3×3 leg grand finals, it was also TNT that Limitless faced in the final stage where they would end up losing, 21-18.
Despite an explosion from 3×3 scoring champion Almond Vosotros who dropped 11 points, the Tropang Giga still couldn’t solve the Limitless puzzle.
The quartet of Napoles, Rosser, Reymar Caduyac, and Marvin Hayes showed the same impact and chemistry from the past legs they joined and have already formed into one flawless well-oiled machine.
Limitless also made it to every PBA 3×3 playoffs this year and are yet to taste defeat in the first two rounds of the postseason.
The winning squad took home a total of 100,000 pesos cash prize money while the Tropang Giga had 50,000 pesos as the Leg 5 runner-ups.
