Finally, the third Ball is in the NBA.
After failing to make it during the 2018 NBA Draft, LiAngelo Ball now has a chance to prove himself after reaching a non-guaranteed 1-year deal agreement with the Detroit Pistons.
The development was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium and added that LiAngelo will be under an Exhibit 10 contract.
LiAngelo’s last basketball action was being a practice player with the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G-League but wasn’t able to suit up because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 6-foot-5 forward also spent most of his time playing overseas especially in the United States where he had a stint with the Los Angeles Ballers in the Junior Basketball Association, a league started by his father Lavar.
With LiAngelo’s NBA arrival, he will join his brothers Lonzo and Lamelo who are under contracts with the New Orleans Pelicans and the Charlotte Hornets respectively.
