A nationwide sports program by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Laro’t Saya, will officially start today, at the La Paz plaza, Iloilo City.
Selected as one of the participating provinces to take part in their nationwide event, the Iloilo City Government and the Iloilo City Sports and Development Division will welcome the arrival of the members of the PSC to grace the opening.
Laro’t Saya’s main aim is to help promote an active lifestyle to the Ilonggos and strengthen the bond of family through sports, play and learn in collective action.
The formal introduction of the coaches in the various sports catered by Laro’t Saya will also take place with a little lecture on the subject matter.
Basketball, Volleyball, Zumba, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Arnis, Taekwondo, and Skateboarding will all be catered by Laro’t Saya.
