Filipino boxing prodigy Kenneth Llover protected his undefeated streak with a one-sided fourth-round knockout of Argentina’s Luciano Francisco Baldor on Oct. 26, 2025, at the Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan.
With another lopsided victory, the pride of General Trias, Cavite, extended his untainted pro boxing run to 16 consecutive wins, with 11 of those coming via knockout.
It was all Llover during the bantamweight clash as the quicker and more explosive Pinoy pug made it difficult for Baldor to pin him on the ropes and capitalize on his reach advantage.
Carrying an upper hand in the reach department, Baldor had several chances to set the tone and rain down jabs, but the clever Llover circled around the canvas, banking on his footwork that kept the Argentinian guessing.
It was not until the final 59 seconds of the opening round that Llover let his power be felt by Baldor after letting his hands go with a flurry of jabs.
Llover then ended the round on a high note after evading Baldor’s hook-uppercut combination attempt with a smooth in-and-out move, followed by a sneaky right straight to add more points to his tally.
All hell broke loose in the second round when Llover started to bully Baldor with a variety of punching angles—from his overhand right to his three-jab punches.
Baldor adjusted and tried to catch Llover with swinging jabs at the start of the third, but the Filipino pug read his movement like a book and pulled off Manny Pacquiao’s signature shoulder turn to avoid damage.
The coronation officially took place at the 1:32 mark of the fourth round, after Llover connected on a staggering left straight that landed on Baldor’s eye.
Split seconds after feeling the initial contact, Baldor dropped to his left knee and was ruled out of the bout when the referee stopped the contest after all eight official counts.
The impressive total domination steered Llover to a great chance of earning a bantamweight title shot or a direct entry to a championship eliminator next year, but the expected opponent is yet to be determined.
