Kaya FC-Iloilo barely broke a sweat and handed Tuloy FC a demolition exhibition, 9-1, during their Philippines Football League (PFL) matchup on Feb. 15, 2026, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.
Fresh off a momentum-boosting win over Maharlika FC, 3-1, the Iloilo-based football club picked up where they left off and didn’t give Tuloy FC any room to breathe for 90 straight minutes.
Kaya FC only needed 17 minutes to draw first blood, leaning on Lucas Del Rosario’s striking prowess that officially put the Ilonggos on board.
Tuloy FC actually had some decent defensive stops in the next 13 minutes, but Pathy Malumandsoko found the back of the net minutes before the half drew to a close to double Kaya FC’s cushion to 2-0.
With a higher octane approach to start the second half, Tuloy FC generated some clean looks, threatening to turn it into a slugfest after a Denmark Uracoy conversion in the 50th minute, 2-1.
However, that goal by Uracoy became Tuloy FC’s final positive moment of the match as Kaya FC steamrolled their way with seven consecutive goals that turned a 50-50 affair into a lopsided contest.
Mike Ott kicked off Kaya FC’s “30 minutes of madness” after firing the squad’s third goal for a 3-1 advantage, followed by Martini Rey’s goal in the 68th minute.
Also delivering the scores that widened Kaya FC’s gap were Ilonggo team captain Jhan Melliza, Julius Myrbakk, and Shuto Komaki.
The massive victory helped Kaya FC protect its No. 1 spot in the standings, accumulating 33 points built from a win-loss record of 11-2.
After building a momentum-boosting winning streak, Kaya FC is looking to solidify its top spot on Feb. 21, 2026, against the No. 2 team, ONE Taguig FC.
