NBA aspirant and Filipino basketball star Kai Sotto bagged the Skills Factory Invitational MVP award and helped his team, the TSF National, to a 112-1102 title match victory against the Believe Prep of South Carolina held at Atlanta.
Filling up the stat sheet with an impressive 27 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 blocks, the Filipino hooper was unanimously voted as league MVP after his dominant performance.
The performance was expected as Sotto’s league average was 27.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.3 blocks, and 3.0 dimes.
Spending a year in the USA for his individual skills training, the 17-year old sensation was already eyed by NCAA teams to be part of their roster, including Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
Sotto was supposed to join the star-studded roster of the Mighty Sports Philippines for the 2020 Dubai International Basketball Tournament but reports surfaced that there were scheduling conflicts.
