The WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, offered Tyson Fury his services as a sparring partner in his rematch with Deontay Wilder.
Joshua said that Fury is quicker than Wilder, so for his future fight, Joshua wants a showdown with Fury and wants him to win over Wilder, that’s why he’s offering help.
Ever since, Joshua’s camp had the difficulty in getting Wilder to fight them for the undisputed heavyweight title.
“It still puzzles me as to why it’s so difficult to pin this man down. This is the man I need to pin down to get the last ring and conquer this division,” Joshua said.
It’s been two years since organizers and promoters have been pushing the Joshua-Wilder fight but for some unknown reasons, it hasn’t come to fruition.
Joshua added, “You’ve got the two lords of the rings here. The last one to unify, undisputed, the division. I’ve got four, he’s got one. I just need one more.”
