Joshua Pacio will be back in action after months off the ring after clinching his ONE Fighting strawweight championship against Japanese Yosuke Saruta.
This time, the challenger will come from familiar territory as Pacio is set to fight another Filipino.
Rene Catalan gets a big break after giving the ONE FC fans and community an astonishing run, getting a crack at Pacio inside the ring.
Although it’s hard to see a compatriot fall at your own hands, Pacio is taking a different approach to the fight saying that the fight is for the sport and fighting is what they love. Fighting each other would show mutual respect as well as honoring the sport.
Pacio is currently training hard with the famous team Lakay and is predicted to knock-out his compatriot with the experience disparity they have.
