Jhon Ramcent Polanco of the Cabalagnan National High School impressed Guimarasnons with his masterful outing in day 2 of the National Basketball Training Center League, winning the best player of the day award among the 12 competing teams.
Chipping in 31 big points, five assists, and 6 interceptions, Polanco led the CNHS against the East Valencia National HS, 75-69.
There were five other games on a busy day two of NBTC-Guimaras, where Nueva Valencia NHS beat the Philippine College of Business and Accountancy, 59-51, and the Buenavista NHS got the better of Simeon J. Jabasa NHS, 71-61.
Agsanayan NHS handled St. Joseph School Hijas De Jesus in a tightly-contested game, 77-70, the Trinidad V. Canja- Sta. Teresa NHS nipped the Good Sheperd’s Fold Academy, 61-57, and last but not the least, the Doctor Catalino G. Nava NHS routed Jordan NHS, 60-45.
The next schedule of NBTC-Guimaras will be on November 9, 2019, at the Cabano Covered Gym, San Lorenzo Guimaras.
