Jobstreet by SEEK is stepping up its push in the Visayas and Mindanao, telling job seekers they do not need to move to Manila to find strong career opportunities.
Through its “Find the Job You Love” campaign, the online job platform is localizing its message and spotlighting employers in the regions as it seeks to connect talent with jobs closer to home.
The campaign challenges the long-standing view among many provincial workers that career success is concentrated in Metro Manila.
Instead, Jobstreet by SEEK says professional growth and staying rooted in local communities can go hand in hand, especially as more companies in the Visayas and Mindanao offer competitive roles and benefits.
As part of the campaign, Jobstreet by SEEK has rolled out a video series featuring regional success stories, including collaborations with employers such as Treasure Island Industrial Corp. in Cebu City.
The company said these partnerships are meant to show that local hiring can deliver not only jobs but also a workplace culture that values employee welfare and community development.
“We get to take care of our employees, value them, respect them, and care for them,” said Kristine Pimentel, HR manager for Treasure Island Industrial Corp.
Jobstreet by SEEK said its partnerships with regional employers are designed to give job seekers in the Visayas and Mindanao access to diverse career paths and global-standard benefits without relocating.
These local opportunities include professional development programs, comprehensive HMO coverage, and modern work setups for workers in fields such as engineering, technology and marketing.
The platform said it currently carries an average of more than 10,000 monthly job vacancies across the Visayas and Mindanao.
Those openings span industries such as BPO, call center, IT-enabled services, retail and merchandise, property and real estate, and general and wholesale trading.
“We believe in the potential of our local talent. By providing them with the right tools, a supportive environment, and opportunities for advancement, we are not just building a company; we are empowering individuals to reach their full potential right here in their home province,” said Stanley Go, vice president for sales and marketing at Virginia Food Inc.
The campaign also frames regional hiring as a way for workers to contribute directly to the economic development of their provinces while pursuing personal goals and a better work-life balance.
“This regional focus complements Jobstreet by SEEK’s broader mission to recognize that a career is more than just a paycheck, but it’s about finding a place where you belong. Whether it’s a dedicated professional building a career in Cebu or a specialist in Mindanao, the platform aims to empower individuals to achieve success both inside and outside the workplace,” said Joey Yusingco, Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines marketing head.
Jobstreet by SEEK said the initiative is built around stories of professionals who have advanced in their communities, underscoring the message that meaningful opportunities may be closer than many job seekers think.
The company said candidates and employers can stay updated on hiring trends and regional success stories through its social media channels and official YouTube channel.
Jobstreet by SEEK said the campaign aims to reinforce the idea that workers in Cebu, Davao and other regional growth centers can build meaningful careers without leaving home.
