Jobstreet by SEEK, the leading online career and employment platform, has partnered with the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce (PLCC) to champion inclusive and diverse workplaces.
The initiative, titled “Pride in Careers: Building Inclusive Futures Together,” aims to expand awareness and highlight inclusive businesses in the Philippines.
The PLCC, a pioneering organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community in the Philippines, will offer its members several benefits through this campaign. These include discounted job advertisements for industries such as Health, IT-BPO, and Tourism.
Additionally, hirers can utilize free job postings via Lite Ads and access a custom link featuring job opportunities exclusively from PLCC member companies. Jobstreet by SEEK will also provide free onboarding training and industry reports to associated hirers.
This campaign, launched during Pride Month, promotes a welcoming environment for all job seekers, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and aims to attract a more diverse talent pool. The initiative emphasizes the long-term benefits of inclusive workplaces, including higher employee satisfaction, retention rates, and overall productivity.
According to a report by Jobstreet by SEEK, jobseekers often choose their workplace based on the organization’s values, political stance, and social impact. This highlights the importance for employers to implement healthy practices to attract and retain talent across generations.
“Jobstreet by SEEK’s unique position in the employment market comes with the responsibility to champion inclusivity in the workplace. By creating equal opportunities for everyone and diversifying the talent pool, we empower hirers to leverage the strengths of individuals, driving more success in the long run,” said Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director, Philippines, Jobstreet by SEEK.
