IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas is anticipating a busier 2020 after successfully defending his belt twice last year.
Fresh off a dominating sixth-round knockout against Miguel Gonzales of Chile last December 7, 2019, the Filipino said that MP (Manny Pacquiao) promotions president Sean Gibbons contacted and informed him that he has a fully-packed year against tons of challengers.
Although no names were mentioned by Gibbons, several dates were already marked as Ancajas’ scheduled fights.
At the moment, Gibbons is still searching for the most suitable opponent for the Filipino slugger, as the successive title defenses ranked him as the fifth-best in his division.
Enjoying the holidays in his hometown of Cavite, Ancajas is always ready and is aware of the situation he is facing with the new year, stating that he is always prepared come match time.
