Will Linsanity invade the NBA once again?
After months of speculation whether Jeremy Lin will play again in the NBA, reports finally confirmed that he has agreed to play in the G League for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Santa Cruz Warriors is the G League team affiliate of NBA team Golden State Warriors and work hand in hand with free agents and returning players. As per Shams Charania of The Athletic, he disclosed that Lin will sign a deal with the NBA G League under Santa Cruz.
With Lin having internal problems with his Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) team Beijing Ducks, it was another indication for him to pursue his NBA dream once again.
Previously, hints that Lin will be joining Golden State were noticed by the netizens and the NBA community after videos of him working out with Stephen Curry went viral.
Lin’s popularity also rose to a mile high after displaying insane scoring sprees in the CBA and the release of his first signature shoe with Xtep, one of the popular Chinese sports brand.
If Lin ever showcases flashes of his old NBA self with the New York Knicks, will he earn that Golden State contract and play in the world’s premiere basketball league again?
