Jealous man stabs live-in partner’s estranged hubby

Jealousy allegedly drove a 37-year-old man to stab his live-in partner’s estranged husband.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Zone 9, Barangay Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City.
The suspect, Junel Bucayan, a resident of Zone 10, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district, immediately fled after the incident.
According to reports, Raul Villahermosa, 37, of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo was driving a tricycle home when Bucayan waylaid him.
Without any word, Bucayan allegedly stabbed the right portion of Villahermosa’s chest with a knife.
The victim was immediately taken to Western Visayas Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect fled and remains at large as of this writing.
Prior to the incident, Villahermosa visited his estranged wife’s family.
Incidentally, he met his wife that allegedly triggered the suspect to throw a fit.
