After a long hiatus from the University Basketball Association in Taiwan, Jack Animam and the Shih Hsin University are back at it and clinched their eighth straight victory, 68-50, against the National Taiwan Normal University.
The pesky National Taiwan Normal squad made it hard for Animam and the rest to build up a large lead, having the least deficit so far against Shih Hsin.
Animam posted her usual numbers, tallying another impressive double-double performance with 14 points and 10 rebounds on top of two assists, two blocks, and five steals.
The Filipina import’s all-around performance helped Shih Hsin pull-away in the second half and proved to be the same dominant force in the paint.
National Taiwan Normal was able to keep it close and turn the game into a see-saw affair as they were able to shoot the lights out and keep up with Shih Hsin’s pace, ending the half just trailing by three, 33-30.
However, Shih Hsin was able to pull away in the second half behind their consistency and stinging offense led by Animam in the shaded area.
