Jack Animam is slowly gaining superstar status in Taiwan.
After leading Shih Hsin University to three-straight lopsided victories before taking their tournament long break, Animam is back at it and helped her team earn their fourth straight victory in a demolition job against National Cheng Kung, 114-30, in the University Basketball Alliance.
The former National University and Gilas Pilipinas women’s superstar imposed her will underneath the shaded area to finish the ball game with 17 huge points, 13 rebounds, two steals, and one block.
It was the 22-year-old’s crazy shooting percentage in the second quarter that led her team to a break the game open after draining eight of her 12 attempts from the field in just 14 minutes of play.
Chen Yuti also came up big for Shih Hsin after scoring 14 points on four treys and three steals while Lin Die added 14 points, six boards, four steals, and two assists.
After a convincing victory over Cheng Kung, Animam and Shih Hsin are set to face Taipei Business University and will gun for their fifth-straight victory.
