The Iloilo Private Schools Athletic Association (ILOPRISAA) taekwondo team from secondary to tertiary swept all the events and were hailed as kings and queens of the taekwondo tournament in the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA).
Clinching a total of 50 medals, 35 golds, 13 silvers, and 2 bronze, the ILOPRISAA squad will be carrying the banner of Region VI in the upcoming national PRISAA in Tuguegarao.
Dominating in the secondary both boys and girls and in the tertiary both men and women, the ILOPRISAA coaching staff were still in awe with the consistent high-level performance their athletes brought to the table.
The two-day event was a masterful display of Ilonggo talent as the athletes dominated the competition with their flawless performances.
As of the moment, the Regional WVPRISAA champions will go back to their respective taekwondo gyms to continue their training and to attain the needed level to compete nationally.
