A 9-year-old Ilonggo singer is this year’s Junior Grand Champion Perform of the Year in the World at the recently concluded World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA).
Thedd Aldritz Geca Maglocot from Guimbal, Iloilo bagged the coveted award for his performance of Tom Jones’ “Delilah” during the grand finale held in Long Beach California, USA on August 4.

The Philippines had 106 representatives in this year’s World Championship of Performing Arts competition.
WCOPA Team Philippines National Director Gerry Mercado said this is the biggest delegation of Team Philippines since it started 28 years ago.
