THE city and province of Iloilo will host the Philippine Youth Games Batang Pinoy 2019 Visayas Qualifying Leg which opens at the Iloilo Sports Complex (ISC) grounds, Feb. 23 to Mar. 2.
The annual games are one of the flagship events of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) which aligns with their mandate to encourage sports programs, league competitions, and amateur sports program, including training for international competition.
The games is also dubbed as the National Sports Development Program for Children.
The games will be held at the ISC grounds, including the covered gym and swimming pool in the entire regional tournament.
56 local government units (LGUs) will participate the games.
