LARO’T SAYA, a Philippine Sports Commission nationwide sports program, kicks off in Iloilo City on Oct 12, 2019 at La Paz Plaza.
PSC selected Iloilo City as one of the participating provinces in their event. Laro’t Saya’s main aim is to help promote an active lifestyle to the Ilonggos and strengthen the bond of family through sports.
PSC, with the assistance of the Iloilo City government and the Iloilo City Sports and Development Division, will cater to different sports such as lawn tennis, table tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, and arnis.
Each sport has a trainer and it is encouraged that you play and learn with your family as a group.
Laro’t Saya will only take place during Saturday mornings with free registration.
In an interview, Executive Assistant for Sports Rudiver Jungco Sr. said, “Laro’t Saya is to help maintain the bond and the closeness of the family through sports. PSC selected Iloilo City as one of the participating provinces with this one of a kind sports program, we’re thankful.
