DESPITE the short budget of the Iloilo City Sports Development Division’s new administration, Executive Assistant for Sports Rudiver Jungco and Mayor Jerry P. Treñas found ways to assist the prized athletes representing Iloilo.
Through the private and public sectors’ help, additional funds were provided for the athletes and coaches from Iloilo City.
The athletes’ allowance, meal allowance, transportation fare from Iloilo to Puerto Princesa, Palawan and assistance were provided.
“Although the total funds were not sufficient, the most important thing is that we found ways to delegate additional funds for our dear children that will represent our City this coming Batang Pinoy,” Jungco said.
