ILONGGO athletes are now preparing for a sports-filled week at Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for the Batang Pinoy National Finals on Aug 25 to 31, 2019.
Iloilo City Executive Assistant for Sports, Rudiver Jungco, called a meeting last July 8, 2019 to follow up extra concerns of the athletes.
A total of 189 Ilonggo youth and 63 coaches will gear up and clash with rivals from Baguio City and Davao City in different events.
One concern was completion and submission of the athletes’ medical certificates. The issue was addressed by coordinating with doctors and health centers and set consultations prior to the passing of requirements.
Furthermore, a master list of the qualified athletes shall be furnished and will be passed together with the requests for medical certificates.
