Hua Siong demolishes Assumption in NBTC-Iloilo leg

Hua Siong College of Iloilo Red Phoenix handed Assumption School Passi City another crushing defeat, 128-70, in Group C of the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Iloilo leg.

The boys in red and white quickly blitzed their way to a 21-1 run after the whistle was blown and momentum came swinging to Hua Siong’s favor since then.

Dave Bagatnan and Cedrick Manzano imposed their will underneath against the yellow shirts, getting to the cup as much as they want the whole game.

Scoring a staggering 97-points to end the third quarter, the Red Phoenix squad continued their shooting clinic until the fourth quarter and produced more points against the loose defense of Assumption.

Maverick Puerto of Hua Siong also contributed in the playmaking department, dishing out numerous assists including well-timed dimes in the fast break.
