Hotel101-Libis tops off, adds 702 rooms in Quezon City

DoubleDragon and Hotel101 officers join representatives of Megawide Construction Corp., Design Coordinates Inc., and Jose Siao Ling and Associates during the Hotel101-Libis topping-off ceremony at Bridgetowne on July 17, 2026.
QUEZON CITY — DoubleDragon Corp. topped off its 702-room Hotel101-Libis on July 17, 2026, marking the completion of the building’s structural framework and topmost floor.
The hotel is being developed within Robinsons Land Corp.’s Bridgetowne estate and is located a short walk from Robinsons Opus Mall.
Once completed, Hotel101-Libis is expected to become the largest hotel in Quezon City by room count, according to DoubleDragon.
The project is a 24-story building on a 2,547-square-meter site, according to a Megawide Construction Corp. prospectus.
The development will include 702 hotel rooms, 13 commercial units, and 283 parking spaces.
Planned amenities include a gym, an outdoor infinity pool, an all-day dining restaurant, a business center, and function rooms.
Hotel101-Libis will form part of the company’s target of building 50,000 standardized Hotel101 rooms in the Philippines and 1 million rooms worldwide.
Hotel101 Global is separately pursuing a long-term goal of operating 1 million standardized rooms across 100 countries, primarily through the licensing of its HBNB business model.
The company describes HBNB as an asset-light, prop-tech hospitality model designed to produce long-term recurring revenue while allowing the brand to expand across international markets.
DoubleDragon expects 2026 to deliver the highest number of Hotel101 room openings in a single year.
A total of 2,229 additional rooms are scheduled to become operational during the year.
The openings include the 680-room Hotel101-Madrid in Spain, which began operations in March 2026.
The 519-room Hotel101-Davao is scheduled to open July 30, 2026.
Another 548 rooms are expected to open through Hotel101-Cebu.
The 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan, is scheduled to open in December 2026.
Hotel101-Niseko is expected to begin generating recurring revenue denominated in Japanese yen once it opens.
Hotel101 Global officially opened Hotel101-Madrid on March 10, 2026, making it the first Hotel101-branded property to operate outside the Philippines.
The Madrid property is located in the Valdebebas district near Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, the Valdebebas train station, the IFEMA convention complex, and the Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix circuit.
DoubleDragon said Hotel101-Madrid has recorded strong demand since opening.
On May 19, 2026, Hotel101 Global reported that the Madrid property reached 100% occupancy and generated more than EUR 100,000 in room revenue in a single day.
The company said the performance demonstrated the property’s potential to generate substantial annual recurring revenue and supported its asset-light hospitality strategy.
The company’s two operating properties in the Philippines are the 518-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort.
DoubleDragon said both hotels continue to record high occupancy levels.
The company expects the new openings to increase recurring revenue from its domestic and overseas hospitality operations.
DoubleDragon also expects to generate higher recurring revenue in 2026 from its provincial community malls, industrial warehouses, office properties, and hotel portfolio.
The company said Hotel101’s international expansion could eventually make the hospitality business a major generator of U.S. dollar inflows for the Philippine economy.
Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp., a DoubleDragon subsidiary, began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker HBNB on July 1, 2025.
The company became the first Filipino-owned business to be listed and traded on Nasdaq, with a deemed equity value of USD 2.3 billion at the closing of its business combination.
DoubleDragon said Hotel101 marked another milestone in 2026 by becoming the first Filipino homegrown hotel chain to operate overseas through the opening of Hotel101-Madrid.
The Philippine-listed property company reported total assets of PHP 225.3 billion in its July 17 disclosure.
DoubleDragon has a diversified portfolio covering provincial community malls, industrial warehouse complexes, office buildings, and hotels in the Philippines and overseas.
The company said its team remains committed to the work, entrepreneurial discipline, and perseverance required to establish Hotel101 as a global brand operating across multiple jurisdictions.
DoubleDragon said the expansion is also intended to bring pride and recognition to Filipinos as Hotel101 enters more international markets.
The company cautioned that its expansion schedules, revenue projections, operating targets, and other forward-looking statements are based on management assumptions and remain subject to risks, opportunities, and unforeseen events.
DoubleDragon said actual results could differ materially from its expectations and gave no assurance that its projections would prove correct or that its plans would remain unchanged.
