Hidilyn Diaz is an inch away from her Tokyo Olympic dream.
The Filipina pride dominated the recently concluded Roma World Cup by clinching 3 golds, 1 in the 93kg snatch and another in the 119 kg clean and jerk.
Diaz lifted a total of 212 kilograms during the competition, boosting her total points to increase her ranking in her division and earn a seat in Tokyo.
Diaz’s current ranking in her division is at fourth and will need to inch more to confirm her Olympic qualification.
This coming April, Diaz will look to maintain her consistent form and double her effort in training camp for another tournament in Kazakhstan.
