The Hercor College Jaguars continued their winning ways and clinched their second straight victory against Saint Mary’s Academy of Capiz, 90-76, in the ongoing National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) League, Roxas leg.
Dispatching the tough Filamer Christian University, 79-55, in their first game, the Jaguars’ carried their momentum over against the young and emerging Saint Mary’s that didn’t back down against the powerhouse Hercor team.
Fighting toe to toe in the first half, Saint Mary’s gave Hercor a difficult time with their speed and aggressiveness to the cup.
However, Hercor’s experience and chemistry took over in the second half that flustered Saint Mary’s defense down the stretch.
Meanwhile, in the second game, Filamer bounced back big time as they trampled Don Ynocencio National High School, 89-64.
In the last game, the College of St. John Roxas crushed Capiz State University, 93-52.
