It’s a bounce-back campaign for Ugyon as they come out on top of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Pahampang 2026, held from Feb. 14 to March 1.
Ugyon bagged top honors in six sports events and one contest during the Paindisanay en route to their third championship in four years.
The group earned a total of 1,319.75 points for sports and literary-musical events held this year.
They bested seven other teams in men’s basketball, softball, table tennis and darts; women’s football and badminton; and the vocal duet competition.
Last year’s overall champion and runner-up, Elektrons and Bluechips, showed grit and fortitude to stay in contention this year, finishing second and third, respectively. Elektrons earned a total of 1,279 points, while Bluechips garnered 1,260.75 points.
