Fresh from her Southeast Asian Games Beach Volleyball stint, Bernadeth Pons is now being courted by numerous teams in the Philippine Superliga.
Rumors surrounding the star player said that Foton is now ready to sign her with a contract-ready agreement but the Foton’s office denied the rumors and cleared that they never offered Pons any contract.
A team that was anchored by Dindin and Jaja Santiago, who is now in its rebuilding process, is currently in search of key and potential star players that will banner Foton for the rest of the conference and the later years.
Diane Santiago, Foton’s team manager, said that they are finding the pieces to the puzzle as they try to fill the void left by the Santiago sisters.
“Although we are hoping to sign new players, we cannot reveal who they are yet kasi we respect their existing contracts,” Santiago said.
