Rolando Dy is back in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) scene and is expected to impress in Bahrain for a bout in Brave Combat Federation (CF).
The Filipino slugger will be breaking his nine-month inactivity after being lined up under Brave 42 against Maciek Gierszewski.
Although confident approaching his match on September 24, Dy shared that he had a difficult time adjusting to the pandemic especially in his preparations with the team.
“This is the first time in my fighting career that I never did hard sparring for the fight preparation,” said the prized Filipino fighter.
Dy will need to defy the odds in Bahrain and will look to bounce back after absorbing back to back losses before his nine-month layoff.
Gierszewski is expected to have momentum on his side after winning his last bout against Bogdan Suru off a technical knockout decision.
“It’s hard to prepare for fights during a pandemic but it is what it is. Adjust and adapt,” added Dy.
