Police apprehended Edgar, 61, at his home in Barangay Inangayan, Santa Barbara.
Personnel from the Iloilo City Mobile Force Company, Iloilo City Police Station, City Intelligence Unit, and Regional Intelligence Unit 6 arrested the suspect with a warrant for Acts of Lasciviousness.
Judge Regina Centenera Galang-Guarin of the Regional Trial Court Branch 30 in Iloilo City issued the warrant and recommended PHP200,000 bail.
Edgar is listed as the sixth most wanted person in Western Visayas.
The alleged incident was reported a year ago when the complainant was 12 years old.
However, the complainant alleges the incident occurred in March 2017.
The girl claimed she was playing at a pre-school center gym when Edgar, then the school’s janitor, approached and offered her candy.
The suspect allegedly encouraged her to go with him to the gym’s backstage.
Edgar allegedly undressed her and touched different parts of her body.
The victim claimed the incident caused her great fear and nervousness.
