BACOLOD City – Eight persons were arrested while P328,360 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated here and in Negros Occidental from Nov 5 to 8, 2021.
Five persons were apprehended here and P316,560 worth of suspected shabu and suspected marijuana were seized by police.
The City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU) confiscated P136,000 worth of suspected shabu and P360 worth of suspected marijuana in a buy-bust in Barangay 40 last Saturday.
Drug busts were also conducted in Barangays 3, 40, and Singcang-Airport here by Police Stations 5, 6, and 8, respectively.
In Negros Occidental, three persons were arrested in the cities of Silay and Himamaylan that resulted in the recovery of P11,800 worth of suspected shabu.
