ECASHPAY, GUIMELCO ink pact on power bills collection

Guimaras Electric Cooperative (GUIMELCO) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with ECASHPAY Asia Inc as a billing collection agent of GUIMELCO on February 24, 2020 at GUIMELCO Main Office, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.

GUIMELCO MCOs can pay their power bills at any ECASHPAY Asia, Inc merchants including Maria Gracia Pawnshop, Tambunting, and Unified Services Inc starting March 2020.

It is hoped that through this initiative, GUIMELCO MCOs will be able to pay their power bills at their own convenience as more collection partners are engaged with the cooperative.

“Through this partnership, our MCOs will no longer wait for long queues just to pay their power bills as we are doing our best to tap and engage collection partners to help us in delivering effective and efficient services to the people we value the most,” GUIMELCO General Manager Shirley S. Laurente said.

Along with the existing collection partners RD Pawnshop and Palawan Pawnshop, GUIMELCO is expecting more collection agents to ensure efficient delivery of services to its MCOs.
