The event brought together eight student representatives from national high schools across the province, each supported by their coaches and teachers who cheered them on throughout the competition.
The sole male contestant from Nueva Valencia National High School emerged as the champion and claimed the top prize.
Second and third place winners came from Nueva Valencia National High School and Remedios Vilches National High School, respectively.
The quiz bee served as the culminating activity of DTI Guimaras’ consumer advocacy initiatives for the year.
Through this event, the agency aimed to raise awareness among students about their rights and responsibilities as consumers.
It also sought to inspire them to become informed, empowered, and proactive members of the consumer community.
