Drug suspect arrested anew

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 57-year-old drug suspect was arrested anew on July 4, 2019 in a drug buy-bust operation by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Roxas City Police Station.

Eduardo Conanan of Burgos Street here did not resist when the police collared him after handing suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer.

Recovered from the suspect were six sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, a cellphone and the motorcycle used in the transaction.

Cunanan was arrested years ago for the same offense but he was released through plea bargaining.

But police later learned that he resumed selling drugs recently.

Police Colonel Dante Tayco, Roxas police chief, said they will investigate the suspect’s source.

Charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 were filed against Cunanan.
