Two street level pushers were arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation early evening of Nov 10, 2020 in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Erwin Sevilla, 29, and Bryan Cocoy, 23, both residents of Barangay Calahunan, Mandurriao were collared after they allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P16,500 along Airport Road in Sta. Rosa, Mandurriao.
Operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDEU-6), together with members of Mandurriao Police Station, recovered eight sachets of suspected shabu, a multi-can, the P16,500 buy bust money, cash of P1,270, a caliber .45 pistol loaded with 6 ammunition, and two mobile phones from the suspects’ possession,
The seized illegal drugs have a DDB (Dangerous Drugs Board) value of P150,000.
Sevilla and Cocoy might be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
