Didal, Means dominate SEAG women’s skateboarding

Filipino skateboarders Margielyn Didal and Christiana Means notched the first and second places, respectively, in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games’ S.K.A.T.E event.

Didal edged Means with her flawless and unique tricks that left the Sigtuna Hall, Tagaytay International Convention Center in awe.

Despite landing in second place, Means felt nothing but pure happiness and pride as both of them ranked the highest among the other participants.

The PH duo shook their sluggish start to finally execute in top form as the round went by, as Didal cruised past 12-year old sensation Thawdar Shin Thant of Myanmar and Indonesia’s Nyimas Cina in the semifinals.

Also, Means got off to an unfavorable start the same as Didal, but managed to pull off the necessary tricks against Nur Farah Atika Abdullah of Singapore and Indonesia’s Kyandra Susanto in the semis.

The all-Filipina finals were a delight to the PH fans and supporters who came to Tagaytay just to witness both their representatives vying for the title.
