The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-6 headed by Regional Executive Director Francisco E. Milla, Jr. and DENRWV Employees Union President Emma P. Delima received a certificate of appreciation during the 21st Blood Donors Recognition and Awarding Ceremony held at the Iloilo Convention Center, Megaworld Boulevard, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, recently.
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) cited DENR Region-6 for its meritorious service in promoting blood services with a minimum of 50 units collected.
DENR 6 has been actively engaging in blood donation activity to help Red Cross in its mission to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
On Aug 30, 2019, the DENR 6 through the DENRWV Employees Union, will again hold a bloodletting activity at the DENR Western Visayas Activity Center.
